1. Take a walk

In situations when you need to think things through and come to a creative way to solve a problem, you can really just go and take a walk. The solution may just come to you.

A research has shown that walking itself tends to increase our ability to think about anything from a different perspective, which allows us to think of new and interesting ways to deal with the problems we are facing.

Apart from that, when we often walk, it reflects on our body too. It is very useful for our health, and doctors recommend everyone to walk at least 5 miles a day.

2. Take a bath

Yes, taking a bath is not useful just for removing bad smells. It also helps boost our brain power.

When you are feeling stressed or tired, it is often a good idea to take a bath. It will help you to relax and clear your mind, which is very important if you have something intellectually important to do after that.

3. Bubblegum

Who would’ve thought that chewing bubblegum is one of the ways to boost your brain power? That’s right, this is not a joke.

An experiment, conducted in 2011 at the St. Lawrence University, pointed out that if you would chew gum for several minutes, it would boost your short-term memory for a small period of time (15-20 minutes).

1. Meditate

Just like our bodies need a workout to stay healthy and in a good shape, the brain needs the same thing. If you properly do a brain workout from time to time, your memory will be better, just like if you work out every day, your body will be healthier and stronger.

There are a lot of things you can do in order to train your brain, from some simple logical tests and games to playing board games, learning new skills and, to some extent, playing some video games.

3. Body workout

Just like the brain needs its workout in order to function properly, it also needs your body to function properly to the same benefit, which can be accomplished by body workout and training.

There are a lot of choices here. Go to the gym. Go swimming or jogging. Or simply pick a sport and commit to the training.

When your body feels healthy and strong, your mind feels the same. So make sure to exercise every day, even for a half an hour.

4. Try to be calm

Whatever you do, wherever you go, try not to stress too much about it. Yes, it is difficult, but there are ways.

Try to do everything in a calm way. Do not try to hasten anything, like fast talking to the people. Always take a moment, breathe and think before you act or say something. It is also helpful to take notes and write your thoughts.

5. Try not to eat too many sweets

It is widely known that eating too many sweets, and sugar is not good for both health and the brain. That’s why you should try to minimize the consumption of sweets and sugar.

But be wary. It is not healthy to remove the sugar and sugar complements entirely from your diet, because our body needs to be able to produce the optimal amount of insulin, so you should try to do research and make yourself a healthy diet according to that.

6. Sleep enough

It is very important to have enough sleep because while sleeping, our brain is resting and regenerating itself.

  • Blueberry and orange – they are tasked with getting important vitamins such as vitamin C, which slows down memory loss and getting antioxidants, which helps with reducing the stress;
  • Nuts – important for getting vitamin E. It is known that it improves comprehension and can be used as prevention to some diseases;
  • Egg – important for getting vitamin B;
  • Broccoli – it can be used for getting vitamin K and contains some antioxidants;

There is a lot of food which can benefit the brain, we mentioned some of it here. You can use all of this to keep your mind sharp. Remember, a healthy body means a healthy brain, and a healthy brain is very important, because the brain powers our entire body, and without it functioning properly, we would not be the same.
