If you wonder how to stop feeling tired, you aren’t alone. Feeling constantly exhausted is so common that it turned into an acronym — TAT — “tired all the time.”
For some people, “all the time” often hits in the afternoon, when you have a half-day ahead to accomplish your tasks and carry on with your daily commitments. But your energy tank is already empty.
If you have tried conventional ways to fight lethargy and nothing’s worked so far, energy medicine can help you fight fatigue on an energetic level.
Here’s what you need to know about this energy healing modality to feel energized and balanced:
- Most Common Reasons You’re Feeling Tired
- How Energy Medicine Helps Feel Energized All the Time

Once you understand how your brilliant system works, you can use its brilliance to shine with energy and joy.
Most Common Reasons You’re Feeling Tired
Feeling tired may have various reasons — some of them are pretty obvious such as lack of sleep or work overload. They are caused by parts of your life or some events that can trigger your tiredness.
Apart from lifestyle causes, there are energetic reasons. Let’s look at the most common ones, according to energy medicine.
Reason #1: Weak energy body
Donna Eden, pioneer of energy medicine and trainer of Mindvalley’s Energy Medicine Quest, explains that when you are exhausted, your energy feels weak. And vice versa, when your energy body is weak, you feel physically tired.
It has to do with major meridians or energy pathways, through which energy flows throughout the body, aligning with the muscles.
“When you aren’t in alignment with your energies anymore, you start losing energy as you go throughout your day,” she adds.
Reason #2: Misalignment with your bodily rhythms
We are designed to be active, and when it’s time for us to rest, long before we are exhausted, the meridians change their direction. But the issue is that this intelligent system works against us.
Why?
In the modern world, we don’t live by our bodily rhythms because of the 9-to-5 working schedule.
According to Donna, many people lose energy between 3-5 p.m. This is the bladder time that governs our nervous system, so it’s our natural time to take a rest, and we are meant to have it by design.
When you keep doing your activities when your body needs to rest, you start going against the flow, which is draining you extremely fast.
Reason #3: Chronic stress
When you experience stress (real or imaginary), you lose blood from your forebrain, which flows down to your body to execute the fight or flight response. This is how stress decreases your energy levels.
On top of that, since you don’t fight or flee in most stressful situations (do you?), you accumulate stress in your body, which results in chronic fatigue and tiredness.
How Energy Medicine Helps Feel Energized All the Time
Energy medicine can give you tools to harmonize your energy with your lifestyle to align it with your daily activities and feel energized all the time.
It’s based on ancient wisdom and knowledge of the chakra system and meridians.
What are meridians?
In traditional Chinese medicine, meridians are paths through which the life energy flows. There are fourteen meridians corresponding to organs and physical systems:
- Spleen
- Heart
- Small Intestine
- Bladder
- Kidney
- Circulation Sex
- Triple Warmer
- Gall Bladder
- Liver
- Lung
- Large Intestine
- Stomach
- Central meridian
- Governing meridian
Donna explains that meridians affect every organ and every physiological system in the body, including the immune, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, reproductive, skeletal, muscular, and lymphatic systems. Each system is fed by at least one meridian.
Fourteen meridians constantly flow in a consistent pattern and direction, where each meridian feeds another.

Also, there’s definite energy between the opposite meridians, and the meridian flow is an essential part of energy medicine.
When you understand how your energy system works as an intelligent mechanism, you can live in alignment with all the energies around and within you.
How to Stop Feeling Tired Instantly with Energy Healing Techniques
Energy medicine gives you tools to harmonize your energy with your lifestyle to align it with your daily activities.
In essence, these energy healing tools focus on vital meridians that keep you calm, grounded, and energized.
Let’s look at energy medicine exercises to help you fight fatigue daily:
Exercise #1: Massaging K-27 Points
Donna explains that K-27 are acupressure points corresponding to the kidney meridian. They are located right under your collarbone. When you massage your K-27 points, it instantly boosts your energy. This exercise is your answer to “how to stop feeling tired in the afternoon.”
How to do it:
- Place your fingertips below your collarbone, just to the side of your breastbone.
- To get the points, deepen your breath to find a connection with your throat or chest.
- Use your right hand to press K-27 on the right side of your chest and your left hand to press it on the left side. Or you can use your thumb on one side and your fingers on the other, holding both sides simultaneously.
- Press firmly enough to feel the tightness or soreness.
- Hold for 2-3 minutes as you breathe slowly and deeply.
- Repeat 3-5 times daily, especially when you feel tired.
In this video below, Donna Eden demonstrates how to do exercises #1 and #2:
Exercise #2: The Crossover Shoulder Pull
You have crossover patterns all over your body, in every cell of it, which is an indicator of good health on the energetic level.
For example, the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa.
When your body needs to rest, heal, or regroup, it turns on a homolateral pattern, forcing you to slow down.
On the other hand, this brilliant evolutionary mechanism can become an established pattern, sapping your energy, productivity, and joy.
“If energy patterns don’t cross over but go up and down, you are losing 50% of your energy,” Donna adds.
So you want to learn a homolateral crossover repatterning technique that reprograms your brain into a healthy habit of crossing over the energies, and the Crossover Shoulder Pull is one of them.
How to do it:
- Dig your fingers of the right hand into your left shoulder and pull it over to the opposite hip across your chest.
- Repeat with the opposite hand and shoulder to create a crossover.
- Apply firm pressure and breathe in deeply through your nose and out through your mouth.
- Repeat several times.
- You can ask your partner to do this exercise on your back: they will pull their hand over to the opposite hip across your back and repeat with the opposite hand.
Exercise #3: The Neurolymphatic Clearing
Your body has a natural waste removal system that clears toxins and stagnant energies. If it works properly, it releases them from the bloodstream, organs, and cells. You feel constantly tired when you accumulate too many toxins, including negative energy.
Neurolymphatic (NL) reflex points are found primarily on the front and back of the torso, legs, and outer shoulders.
When these points are stimulated, they help increase the flow of energy in meridians and release physical toxins. You can use them to balance the energy in the meridians and the corresponding organ systems.
Doing this daily is a potent way of helping the energies move through your entire body.
How to do it:
- Press on any of the points with solid pressure and make tiny circles with your thumb or finger (press/buzz): Kidney Meridian, the point between your arm and torso, on the side of the collar bone.
- Press/buzz each point for about five seconds. Massage a few points each day.
- Work tender points for several extra seconds.
Exercise #4: Spooning your feet
According to science, your body’s energies constantly interact with the energies of the Earth.
Direct physical contact with it, known as grounding or earthing, has many benefits, including better sleep and reduced pain. But modern lifestyle separates us from such contact.
Donna explains that we need to be grounded for the natural exchange between our complex energy system and the Earth.
We are meant to be very connected to the Earth to draw the Earth’s energies up into our bodies. For this to happen, the body’s polarities must align with the Earth’s polarities.
— Donna Eden, trainer of Mindvalley’s Energy Medicine Quest
Think of two magnets. If they are aligned, they attract one another and exchange energies. If they are not in the proper alignment, they repel one another.
At the bottom of each foot is an energy vortex pulling energy from the Earth. Our feet can attune us to the rhythms of the Earth, and sometimes the connection between the feet and the Earth is blocked.
Apart from walking barefoot on the grass, you can spoon your feet to energize your body and ground yourself when your polarities are off.
How to do it:
- Take a stainless steel spoon.
- Tap on your feet vigorously with the spoon before you go to bed.
Evolve Your Body with Energy Medicine
According to Donna, one of the most important reasons to learn energy medicine is to evolve your body.
Energy medicine gives you a profound understanding of how meridians bridge mind, body, and spirit, equipping you with the tools to re-balance meridians, reprogram your stress response, and accelerate your journey to vitality and joy.
“They bring balance, remove blockages, adjust metabolism, and even determine the speed and form of cellular change,” she emphasizes.
On top of that, these techniques help you adapt to anything new. And you can learn them by joining Donna Eden in her Energy Medicine Masterclass at Mindvalley.
