You’re big on hacking your brain and body to be more productive. So, how about hacking your subconscious to manifest more abundance in your life?
There are multiple ways to go about it — psychological, neurolinguistic, energetic, and somewhat metaphysical. Nevertheless, all these hacks have one common strategy. To be more precise, they deal with the realm of subconsciousness which is proven to be the underlying force that rules over your conscious experiences.
You may think it is not that simple.
But what if ‘it is not that simple’ is the biggest lie we are told over and over again? It is that simple if you believe it is.
At the very least, you can try these 12 hacks to prove them right or wrong. For yourself.
1. Clear Your Resistance
First of all, you want to clear your resistance to change. This resistance is an evolutionary mechanism that we have developed as species.
One of the rules of the mind is that it loves what’s familiar. In other words, it preserves the status quo by all means.
You may not be conscious of your resistance, but this is the very first barrier to more abundance in life.
2. Identify Your Limiting Beliefs
They say, “money doesn’t grow on trees.” Well, it does as money is made out of paper. You see, when you don’t limit your perception of things, you can see reality from a broader perspective. So it boils down to what negative beliefs have shaped your perception of money and abundance that limit you.
Most of our limiting beliefs are acquired in our childhood, before the age of 3, from our parents. They sound like “we cannot afford that,” “we don’t have money for that,” “we aren’t those kinds of people,” and “money is evil.” Identifying these beliefs is crucial because you first form them and then look for evidence supporting them.
From the Law of Attraction standpoint, your beliefs shape your reality.
Chances are you have one of these most common beliefs that prevent you from manifesting abundance in your life.
3. Clear Your Abundance Blocks
Christie Marie Sheldon, a fully-realized intuitive healer and author, has done over 30,000 consultations with her clients. As a result, she discovered 24 abundance blocks that everyone has.
She explains that these are typical energies or patterns that everyone needs to work on to manifest abundance.
Whether you are having troubles with money or relationships, you duplicate these patterns over and over again.
It’s called imprinting, most of which occurs from 0 to 7 years, and some patterns happen even before you’re born.
What Are These Abundance Blocks?
- Fear of growth
- Fear of success
- Fear of rejection
- Fear of numbers
- Indecision
- Blame
- Sabotage
- Family and ancestral blocks
While your limiting beliefs reside in your mental field, these abundance blocks are present in your energetic field. By working with so many people, Christie learned that things would shift easily once you pull that energetic layer.
4. Find Cross-Competing Purposes
Have you noticed that as soon as you tackle your abundance issues, your life starts to crumble? It is your conscious and your subconscious having a grand competition over your reality. When you are persuading yourself that you are abundant, something inside you whispers, “no, you are NOT.” These are your cross-competing purposes or realities that you want to bring into alignment.
Often, people have a strong aversion to their inner conflicts, but these are the gifts that show up to give you an opportunity to change it — for good. And for more abundance.
5. Rewire Your Mindset
Once you’ve identified your limiting beliefs and cross-competing realities, you want to replace them with new ones that will lay a foundation for your more abundant life. You can use hypnotherapy to rewire your mindset on a subconscious level and repeat affirmations for manifesting abundance during a day.
The goal is to make them so familiar that they will become your default belief system that will run automatically.
6. Shift Your Identity
Imagine yourself abundant. Picture it vividly in front of you. What do you look like? What do you wear? How do you smell? How do you hold yourself? How do you talk? What energy do you carry along? Now come back to your current identity and reflect on all the ways you show up in this world — your habits, behaviors, actions, default emotions, and self-talk.
Your identity comes first, which is then translated into your behaviors. If you believe that you will never be rich or that you must work hard for it, you will live your life accordingly.
In the book Atomic Habits, James Clear talks about getting ourselves motivated to take actions to get us to our goals. He points out three layers of behavior change: outcomes, processes, and identity. So many people focus on the wrong layer to achieve their goals.
For example, when they go to the gym, they focus on the outcome of losing a certain amount of weight. Others focus on the process by creating a routine for the workout. Both layers don’t work long-term.
James Clear says:
“Instead, you want to focus on identity shifts by taking on the identity of someone who’s healthy, who worships their body, who has persistent energy and has the body of an athlete.”
In the same way, you want to take on the identity of an abundant person who can easily multiply and maintain their wealth. This identity will motivate you to change your behaviors and take the right actions.
7. Be Grateful
Scientists have been studying gratitude for several decades and have found that it has the highest correlation with your wellbeing and overall health.
It’s like a magic pill that:
- Gives you more energy
- Increases emotional intelligence
- Helps you forgive easier
- Decreases levels of depression and anxiety
- Increases your sense of connectedness with others
- Improves your sleep
- And even reduces headaches
Lisa Nichols, author of Speak & Inspire Quest, compares gratitude with fertilizer.
If your dream is the seed, and your action is water to nurture it; sunlight is the consistency to grow the seed; gratitude is the fertilizer that makes it grow sooner and faster.
— Lisa Nichols, author of Mindvalley’s Speak & Inspire Quest
So you want to be grateful for everything you already have, both good and not so good, present and potential. When you are grateful, you are communicating a message that you’re already abundant. After all, what abundance can you manifest greater than your wellbeing and health?
One of the best ways to go about it is to create a regular gratitude journal practice.
8. Raise Your Vibration
Your frequency is your currency, and abundance is a frequency game. By raising your vibration, you’re playing a bigger game for yourself. Raising your vibration means opting for higher frequency emotions such as courage, joy, peace, and love.
9. Set Bold Goals And Write Them Down
If you want to become a cow, at least, you will become its head.
— Korean proverb
You see, it takes the same amount of time and effort to do small things and big things. So why play small when you can play big?
By thinking bold and dreaming big, you are proclaiming that you’re capable enough. And when you practice journaling your big goals, you are communicating to your mind that these things are vitally important. Your mind is a problem-solving machine that’s there for you to tackle any task — small or big.
To amplify this practice, create a vision board as a physical manifestation of your goals. Stick it where you are going to see it at least once a day.
10. Practice Non-Attachment
When it comes to manifesting more abundance, you must be detached from the outcome. It’s a combination of gratitude and non-attachment that allows you to stay neutral.
You simply aren’t trying hard but rather trust that the Universe gets your message and reverts to you as soon as it takes care of all the hows.
So set your abundance goals, and forget about them.
11. Give And Receive
Marie Christie Sheldon explains that an abundant person has an abundant energy field. They are ready to give and receive simultaneously. On the contrary, a non-abundant person’s energy is contracted so is their reality.
You can expand your field energetically or cause this expansion by giving and receiving intentionally. We give from a space of abundance by default, so the more you give, the more abundant you will feel. On top of that, the act of giving in itself releases powerful happiness hormones, which means that humans are wired to serve others by design. And the more we serve, the more fulfilled we become.
Indeed, by nature, we are more willing to give than receive but receiving is a natural life cycle. And most people aren’t big on receiving – they instantly contract and indulge in a feeling of unworthiness.
If this is true for you, this hack alone can expand your container for more abundance.
12. Be In Nature
By your very nature, you’re living abundance.
— Michael Beckwith, author of Mindvalley’s Life Vision Mastery Quest
Abundance is omnipresent, the question is, do you see and recognize it?
Every time you are in nature, you want to see and recognize it everywhere around you – in the vastness of the ocean, the lushness of trees, and countless grains of sand. And then catch the feeling of that abundance as the expression of what you are.
Because all the abundance that you can see outside can be found within you.
