Today, we’re doing something different.

Normally, in my Tuesday newsletters, I share ideas, insights, and practices for upgrading your life. But today, I want to do something more direct. Instead of giving you words, I want to give you an experience.

In fact, I want to give you the single most transformative audio track I’ve come across in years.

It’s called Hypnotic Trance Bliss by Paul McKenna.
And here’s the thing: in 2024, this track was voted Best Audio of the Year by the Mindvalley community. Out of hundreds of meditations, sound journeys, and breathwork practices, this one stood out.

For the next two weeks, I’m making it free for you to access.

Mindvalley Paul McKenna Hypnotherapy Meditation

Why this track is different

This isn’t just a meditation. It’s a piece of advanced hypnotherapy technology.

Paul’s method rewires your subconscious to lower your baseline stress level. That means you don’t just feel calm during the session — your entire nervous system resets. Stressful situations suddenly feel easier. Emotional triggers lose their bite. What used to feel overwhelming becomes fluid, manageable… even enjoyable.

Paul prescribes it like this:

Listen for 5 days in a row.
Watch what happens next.

Here’s what our members report (and what I experienced myself):

  • Stress dissolves.
  • Emotional steadiness increases.
  • You stay calm, clear, and focused under pressure.
  • Old triggers stop hijacking your day.
  • The benefits last for months, sometimes years, after repeated listening.

Now, before you start, you need to know the story and context behind this track.

How I stumbled into the power of hypnosis

Vishen and Hypnosis Meditation

Here’s the funny part: I didn’t even discover this track myself.

One day in 2022, my team kept blowing up my phone with messages:

“This is the most powerful meditation I’ve ever done.”
“The greatest audio on the app, hands down.”

And I’m thinking, Really? Out of the thousands of audios in the Mindvalley library?

Now, confession: I don’t personally test every single track in the app anymore. There’s too much content. So ironically, I didn’t even hear about this from Paul directly. I heard it from my own team.

So I did what Paul suggested. I committed to 5 days in a row.

Here’s what happened:

  • I felt lighter, even when facing pressure.
  • My anxiety shrank.
  • I could juggle multiple projects without tipping into stress mode.
  • My mind stayed sharp, and my body stayed calm.
  • My decisions were quicker and better.

That’s when it hit me:

It’s not the workload that burns us out. It’s the subconscious programming beneath it.

This is why I wanted to include this hypnotherapy track in today’s newsletter as a free gift for all of you.

You can go to your Mindvalley App and search for Hypnotic Trance Bliss.

Or click here to access it: Try Hypnotic Trance Bliss with headphones.

Hypnotic Trance Bliss wins audio track of the year

In 2024, Paul McKenna’s Hypnotic Trance Bliss was awarded Meditation of the Year—chosen by our community of millions who had experienced its power.

But here’s the thing: what you just listened to isn’t just a meditation—it’s a glimpse into the power of hypnotherapy.

Why it works

Paul doesn’t just talk to your conscious mind. He bypasses it.

Here’s how:

  • Different commands go into your left and right ears.
  • Strange stories and riddles distract your logical brain.
  • Your conscious mind is too busy trying to “figure it out.”
  • Meanwhile, your subconscious just absorbs the transformation.

It feels unusual. Sometimes a little weird. But that’s the point. The old stress programs get overwritten—and you emerge into what Paul calls relaxed alertness. Calm, sharp, productive, fully present.

The McKenna-Mindvalley School of Hypnotherapy

Paul’s work has transformed my life—and the lives of thousands in our community.

A couple of years ago, we decided to take it further.

That’s why Mindvalley partnered with Paul to create the McKenna Mindvalley School of Hypnotherapy: a global training ground for mastering the art of transformation.

Why hypnotherapy?

Because science, psychology, and experience all point to one truth:

It’s not your conscious mind that runs the show. It’s your subconscious.

And when you learn to reprogram the subconscious, everything shifts—your health, your wealth, your confidence, even your relationships.

The subconscious is running your life

Subconscious Mind Power Diagram Iceberg

If your conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg—willpower, logic, emotions, short-term memory—then your subconscious is the massive structure beneath the surface that’s far more powerful:

  • Your beliefs and phobias
  • Your cravings and addictions
  • Your imagination and intuition
  • Your unresolved grief and fears of abandonment
  • Your long-term memory and protective reactions

In other words, while your conscious mind thinks it’s in charge, your subconscious is the one quietly steering the ship.

This is why so many of our struggles—around money, food, confidence, even relationships—don’t change through “trying harder.”

They only change when we rewire the subconscious.

Now, let’s go deeper.

What’s really affecting your subconscious?

Your stress: A baseline on how much stress you can take is the silent saboteur

When Paul joined me on The Mindvalley Show, he broke it down brilliantly:

  • Stress is situational. A presentation. A deadline. Traffic.
  • Anxiety is ambient. That hum of dread that never switches off.

Here’s the problem: we’ve practiced stress and anxiety so much—through news, uncertainty, and constant change—that our baseline is too high.

And when your baseline is high, everything feels harder:

  • Creativity shrinks.
  • Joy disappears.
  • Bandwidth collapses.

The solution isn’t to remove all pressure.

It’s to reset your baseline—so you live in what Paul calls relaxed alertness.

That’s the state where you stay calm, but razor sharp.

Productive, without panic.

Present, without drained energy.

You don’t lose your edge—you gain flow

High performers resist change because they fear losing their edge.

For years, my “remedy” for stress was a glass of wine.

It felt good at the moment.

But brain scans, new research, and my own experiments proved the opposite: alcohol was raising my baseline stress, dulling my focus, and aging my brain.

The same goes for sugar, overworking, or compulsive scrolling.
Short-term relief, long-term damage.

We call them “calm.” But they’re really chains.

Listening to Paul’s Hypnotic Trance Bliss changed things.

I didn’t lose my ambition—I amplified it.

And this is the paradox: when you’re less tense, you’re more effective.
When you’re less stressed, you create more.
When you’re calmer, you lead better.

The more I practiced, the more I realized:

Our world desperately needs more people trained in hypnotherapy.

Not just for personal breakthroughs, but for helping others:

  • Clearing phobias
  • Breaking addictions
  • Unlocking confidence
  • Healing stress and burnout

Which is why I’m thrilled to share this with you:

  2. Just an amazing meditation experience!! The easiest meditation I have ever done and I woke up fully energized and ready to take on the day. I returned today so I could complete 5 days in a row as recommended and I could not acces the program…please, help!!

  3. Is there any chance at all you can tape these for or have this type of event available after the event for people in different time zones? I am in Australia and would love to attend my meeting because of the time difference. Even though I am a subscriber if a paid post event option would be something you would consider, I would purchase it.

  4. Hello and what a wonderful gift! But as for other live sessions I know I can’t stay focussed between the hours of 1am and 5am! So is there anything Mindvalley can do for your members on the other side of the world?

  5. Thank you for sharing the Hypnotic trance audio by Mr. Paul Mckenna, it was great! I will continue to listen to it as long as it’s available. Thanks again!

  6. Why can’t we find the link to the recording? It takes me into the app and then asks to pay the membership. Thank you

  7. Hi, thank you for all the great opportunities you offer Subscribers!
Please will there be a replay or rebroadcast of this?
I am in Thailand and am continually having difficulty attending live only events due to the time zone difference. 8am US is 10pm for me.
As MV probably relates, I have implemented the ‘sleep like it’s my job’ approach to improving my life, so MV daytime participation is my chosen limitation.

  8. Love Mindvalley and have just signed up for M V U in Tallinn 2026. Can’t wait!

I am living between Malaysia and Australia, and I find it difficult to log on to special events, like this fantastic Paul McKenna one, due to the time difference. Of course, I understand it’s impossible to cover the whole world live but I’m really hoping that even more events will become recorded including the Mastery courses, which I understand people on this side of the world would have to do nightshift twice a week to attend unless they can become recorded.

  9. Hi Vishen
Could you please make it possible for Australian / Pacific time zone members to join somehow – even if it was a fixed time re-run? It’s such a shame that all these great events are only available at 2 am our time! Thank you for considering this.

  10. This is a perfect example of how what you claim is immediately proven to be bullshit! I received your email claiming “ just click here to try the bliss trance” and I was sent off along a long string of dysfunctional mobile pages, then I tried the “ just drop Vishen a comment “ and I end up here! Is the scrambled crap how you really want people to experience MindValkey??!!!

  11. I am accepting this as my birthday gift from Mindvalley. Thank you! I am currently doing Paul McKenna’s ‘Total Confidence’ quest on the Mindvalley app. When I started the program, I had the mindset of yet-another-confidence-building-quest. But this one is like no other and I am just on day 4 and I can already see how differently I have started showing up. Signed-up, excited, and all set for the 31st!

  12. I joined Mind Valley a very short while ago and huge transformation has occurred. I was steep in trauma until I left home. I carried it around, not realizing how much the weight of it impact it, the choices and decisions I made. And then came Mindvalley. I don’t even remember where I saw an advert for it, but it jumped off of the screen. I was curious and began to dip my toe in the water, but ended up jumping all in. On my own while using the app, I’ve seen incredible transformation and inner growth and letting go of old patterns and healing deep wounds. I see now that I became a social worker who did therapy with children to heal myself and with the blessing of working with this app I feel close to wholeness again. my words seem quite inadequate to express the profound transformation and gratitude. I feel for this gift.

  13. I’ve been a memento for 1 week, and thought this program was part of the membership. I’m really enjoying it, and am wondering if I’ll be able to do all 21 days, or will my access to the program be discontinued by the end of August?
Also, will the August 31 seminar be recorded? I’m not able to attend live.

  14. Hypnotic trance—and especially Paul McKenna’s Hypnotic Trance meditations—literally saved my life. I was in a deep state of despair, feeling frozen and unable to take the steps I needed to turn my life around. These meditations gave me the breakthrough I needed to start taking action and face a very difficult situation. I’m still digging out, but my life has truly changed. I now have hope for a better future, and I’m once again able to focus, create, and move forward.

  15. I listened to the recording today for the first time and put it on my calendar for the next four days. I would love to attend on August 31, but being Labor Day weekend, I will be traveling. Will there be a replay if we cannot attend LIVE?
