Last week in Amsterdam, I stood in front of 500+ coaches at the Supercoach Summit.
Some of the most brilliant, heart-driven people on the planet were in that room.

And someone asked me a question that made the whole room lean in:

“Vishen… how do I really go big?”

I shared this message live in Amsterdam:

Watch the video here:

If you prefer to read my full answer, here’s the exact transcript from the video for you—below:

Don’t see yourself as just a coach. See yourself as a movement builder.

What movement are you going to build?

Now, you don’t have to do this, but if you want to go big, you’ve got to figure out your movement.

My movement is not Mindvalley. My movement is unity. Mindvalley is simply the enabler of unity.

Unity consciousness means expanding a human being’s understanding of life so that they want to do good in the world.

And to do good in the world, you need to improve your personal power.

You need to get really good at, say, building a business or developing skills or becoming a teacher or becoming a healer.

But then, you’ve got to expand that to think about people outside your country, outside your religion, and outside your skin color, and see yourself as a citizen of planet Earth and help us heal this planet and heal humanity.

I’m fascinated by unity because I grew up on Star Trek. I’m fascinated by unity because I was once on the Muslim watch list.

And the reason I left America is because I had to report to the police every four weeks for a background check because of the color of my skin and the identity on my passport.

 That’s why unity matters.

So I wasn’t trying to build a company. I was trying to build a movement around unity.

It’s why Mindvalley employees come from 60 countries.

It’s why our company is global. It’s why our authors come from all across the world. It’s why I can speak for Gaza. But this week, sign and promote an Israeli author.

It’s because unity is my highest value.

I’m building a movement for unity.

I believe the universe is gracious.

And if we’re doing something in alignment with the wish of a higher power or the universe, what will happen is we will be blessed.

Jose Silva said, “Whatever you want to visualize, see two or more people benefiting“.

He found that after training millions of people, the more people who benefit from your dream, the more likely your dream is to manifest.

So maybe you’re trying to serve one person.

Maybe you’re happy to serve five high-paying clients.

That’s great. You’re a good coach.

You want to break the ceiling? Go from coach to movement builder.

What is that that your soul wants you to give to the world as a movement?

Is it like that lady who started the kindness meetups and talks?

Is it me who created this company to achieve unity?

Is it something else? Is it women’s rights? Is it conscious parenting? Is it eating healthy?

Is it changing the narrative on food and medicine?

It doesn’t matter what it is.

Use your coaching as I did as a stepping stone for that ideal. Build a movement.

If you shift your identity from coach to movement builder, that is how you end up accidentally with an empire, and you make the world better.

If this sparked something in you, let me know in the comments and tell me what movement you want to build?

To your movement,

Vishen

  1. Genius presentation and highly inspirational, fueling my inner torching light and fire. So, here is a movement feedback from a Scandinavian Mowgli Viking:
A new movement is rising – forged in silence, sculpted by storms, and ready to recalibrate humanity from the inside out. O4P is not a brand. It is a blueprint for elevation. The ignition has already begun.
The O4P movement: Awaken the source ∞ Elevate humanity.
    /// Peak state, Love & Joy … .. .

  2. Your emphasizing unity is the destiny for a maturing humanity today. It will be done when we let go of all forms of prejudice and build the foundation of a just and peaceful world collaborating together, all religions, races, men and women.

  3. Vishen, thank you for these words — they resonated deeply with me.
My heart is drawn to creating a movement for inner freedom and a gentle return to one’s true self. I believe we can live in harmony with ourselves, others, and the world when we find inner grounding and honesty with ourselves.
Through yoga beyond the mat, working with karma, leadership rooted in inner depth, and storytelling, I want to create spaces where people open up without pressure — freely, consciously, and with warmth.

  4. I am building an I AM movement to know your worth. To know how you are and constantly improve yourself to become a disciple of God in flesh. And only then to touch, influence, and transform people’s view of life from my innersircle to my outercircle.

  5. I am passionate about seeing the world change by introducing the kingdom of God under “Heavenly treasure movement.”
This involves reaching out to the young generation, evangelizing, discipling and training them to get their hands on the same mission. My slogan goes, “On mission with Christ.” This is what I’m working on.

  6. HONESTLY SPEAKING … MYSELF WANTS TO REMOVE ALL THE ” FEARFUL NOTIONS ” … IN THE PATH OF PEACE AND COMPASSION … THAT ARE SPREADING IN OUR SO CALLED HUMANE SOCIETY … ALTHOUGH GLOBALLY … !!!!! 🙂🙏💐

I’ve been a proud member of the Mindvalley community for over 3 years. During that time, I’ve referred many people, invested in multiple programs, and consistently been impressed by the content, the teachers, and the transformational experiences offered.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with the Social Media Mastery course has been the exception. Due to serious and unforeseen family health circumstances, I’ve been unable to participate since the third week of the 24-week program — and it’s unlikely my situation will change in the foreseeable future.

I’ve been dealing with Tom Kirby, Head of Customer Experience, who has repeatedly refused my requests for a simple Zoom meeting to discuss possible solutions. His only suggestion has been a future credit for the full $4,500 I paid — an option that simply isn’t viable given my circumstances.

This is not about policy. This is about the values Mindvalley stands for — compassion, empathy, and human-to-human connection.

Right now, I’m not experiencing those values in action.

Vishen, I hope this post will bring my situation to your attention. I want to resolve this in a way that reflects the community I’ve been proud to be a part of for the last three years.

  8. i found it difficult to imagine how it was to live there (in America).
in my country is peace, and still we have four beautiful seasons.
My movement would be I’m happy right now, this moment.
I have opportunity to take courses, there are plenty of them to choose.
And then my dream will come true.

  9. Exactly resonated with my vision Vishen, love you for each and every word that you speak to empower human race and bring unity in them. I too want to build a movement which brings good health and happiness to the world. This will take time but i am completely committed with sheer dedication to make this dream come true. Hoping to meet you in Amsterdam next year same time. Love you and see you soon.

  10. I loved this approach and have reflected on it deeply — especially after going through the Social Media Mastery Quest, as I had to find the red thread between all my projects.

Whether I’m building my eduational project, writing, or creating in other forms, I’ve found the same purpose at the core: empowering people and equipping them with timeless skills to thrive in any era and to enhance their humanity.

In this AI era, I believe that’s what truly makes the difference — using technology for what it does best, while keeping the heart of growth in what only humans can do: connecting deeply, inspiring each other, and leading with purpose.

  11. I’ve always known what movement I want to create, but I always thought that would come after, separately, from business/career/self-actualization. Thanks for pointing out that that movement is the key to all the other things.

By the way, your vision of unity resonates strongly for me. Just one more reason to love Mindvalley!

  12. My Dream is to build an Art Centre for the best in Humans and for the best for Humans. Producing (by real artists), exhibit, selling and distribute art (paint, drawing, dance and writing, maybe sculptures as well) and help and educate children and young artist along the way.

  13. My mind is always focused on developing myself and pushing myself to not be afraid to learn something new.. So in this I have a vision to help men to want to care for themselves better, especially because men in general don’t. With this in mind, focusing on better eating, simple more healthy quick meals, easier lifestyle on less drinking of alchohol.. awareness of bad smoking habits or in family focus but especially financially balancing lifestyle with savings .. most men just don’t! So in all I guess it is really about self education focused on mens health for better family and social growth!

  14. wonderful, heart moving,
I am an option trader. It is fun for me to trade markets, but it is an individual game not a teamwork.
Your writeup really moved my heart……. Thinking now what I can do for the society.

  15. My movement is to dispel feelings of rejection and shame that limit us – to be safe and secure in a space that allows exploration of the things we believe are too big to be spoken …things you think you cannot say for fear …
A safe space to speak, to be heard, to be seen.
We all deserve to know we are amazing beings and all capable of growth and peace.

  16. Thank you for challenging me to focus on this question. I now have clarity as to what I’m up to in this declaration of my purpose.
‘To assist humanity in raising the vibrational energy of every individual that has the desire to.’
This is the first time that I’ve been able to articulate it. Thank you.

  17. Hi Vishen,

I heard your message live at Supercoach and it stuck with me. It is so empowering to start a movement. What would my movement be about? It would be about identity leading ultimately to peace. I first questioned identity back in the mid 90’s. I was born with a Yugoslavian passport in Berlin. During the civil war, this country fell apart and I received the Croatian passport. A year later I chose to get the German citizenship and passport and I deeply felt, the passport does not define our identity. 20 years later when going through a cancer disease I also felt that the disease is not who I am but that I had it back then – only for a certain period of time. So to summarize it: my movement would be about identity: Who are we in our core? Connecting consciously with our values and qualities. I believe that it would bring peace of mind and peace into our hearts if we stopped believing the concepts around identity. Starting with leaders, my movement is about intuition: “From intuition to identity”. This is my working title after mindvalley U and your talk. It is amazing, how one sentence can make a huge difference. Thank you for the movement you created and your inspiration to think much bigger.

  18. It seems there are some interesting, little and significant differences between Unity and Oneness. I like the approach, thanks for sharing this post 🙂
