Last week in Amsterdam, I stood in front of 500+ coaches at the Supercoach Summit.
Some of the most brilliant, heart-driven people on the planet were in that room.

And someone asked me a question that made the whole room lean in:

“Vishen… how do I really go big?”

I shared this message live in Amsterdam:

Watch the video here:

If you prefer to read my full answer, here’s the exact transcript from the video for you—below:

Don’t see yourself as just a coach. See yourself as a movement builder.

What movement are you going to build?

Now, you don’t have to do this, but if you want to go big, you’ve got to figure out your movement.

My movement is not Mindvalley. My movement is unity. Mindvalley is simply the enabler of unity.

Unity consciousness means expanding a human being’s understanding of life so that they want to do good in the world.

And to do good in the world, you need to improve your personal power.

You need to get really good at, say, building a business or developing skills or becoming a teacher or becoming a healer.

But then, you’ve got to expand that to think about people outside your country, outside your religion, and outside your skin color, and see yourself as a citizen of planet Earth and help us heal this planet and heal humanity.

I’m fascinated by unity because I grew up on Star Trek. I’m fascinated by unity because I was once on the Muslim watch list.

And the reason I left America is because I had to report to the police every four weeks for a background check because of the color of my skin and the identity on my passport.

 That’s why unity matters.

So I wasn’t trying to build a company. I was trying to build a movement around unity.

It’s why Mindvalley employees come from 60 countries.

It’s why our company is global. It’s why our authors come from all across the world. It’s why I can speak for Gaza. But this week, sign and promote an Israeli author.

It’s because unity is my highest value.

I’m building a movement for unity.

I believe the universe is gracious.

And if we’re doing something in alignment with the wish of a higher power or the universe, what will happen is we will be blessed.

Jose Silva said, “Whatever you want to visualize, see two or more people benefiting“.

He found that after training millions of people, the more people who benefit from your dream, the more likely your dream is to manifest.

So maybe you’re trying to serve one person.

Maybe you’re happy to serve five high-paying clients.

That’s great. You’re a good coach.

You want to break the ceiling? Go from coach to movement builder.

What is that that your soul wants you to give to the world as a movement?

Is it like that lady who started the kindness meetups and talks?

Is it me who created this company to achieve unity?

Is it something else? Is it women’s rights? Is it conscious parenting? Is it eating healthy?

Is it changing the narrative on food and medicine?

It doesn’t matter what it is.

Use your coaching as I did as a stepping stone for that ideal. Build a movement.

If you shift your identity from coach to movement builder, that is how you end up accidentally with an empire, and you make the world better.

If this sparked something in you, let me know in the comments and tell me what movement you want to build?

To your movement,

Vishen

  1. Ahhh, Vishen, Love you and your Visions sooo much.
    We are aligned.
    Unity.
Planetary movement seeking healthy sustainable communications holding space for wide natural variance of opinions and also respectful consensus building.

Let us Earthlings overcome our homo sapienic Tribalism through Compassion, Self Love, and Humour to ready ourselves for InterPlanetary interactions towards Peace, Delight, Playfull CoExistence.

I offer to serve as an Earth Human Ambassador, to magnificently enable a Council full of diverse Species to flourish with ease and lovingkindness.

Let us start with our youngsters catalyzing hope and excitement for the future, replacing dread of Extinction. Perhaps a kids’ comedy educational series. Adults can learn, too.

I’m so Grateful for your support in my developing the skills needed to effect great impact, and in gaining the strength, wisdom, and confidence to shine as your Representative.

Would love for you to also become an Interplanetary Councillor. Wanna ?

  2. First of all, thank you for your vision and unity movement Vishen. It is certainly lighting fires, in the best way possible by inspiring millions and igniting souls to go on to do bigger and better things. All my life I have tried to work for the common good, to shape, serve, lead, follow, defend, to fight for human rights and peace, despite innumerable setbacks. Our present day world seems to have defeated my life goals but I continue to seek new ways to help others,…to share my life experience and knowledge to help guide kids in particular avoid some of the pitfalls, to help them navigate their own space and that of the ever expanding universe and tap into what is good, best, worthy. I hope MV will be one of the platforms where I can embed what I can bring to reach larger audiences, with compassion, as well as humour, as there is urgency in this. If there are or can also be Futures Councils, with kids serving on them as well, count me in! I really would like to see MV move in this direction as well…and yet another dream with urgency, also reach out to the truly disadvantaged–victims of war, refugees, migrants.

  3. As an early admirer of your dream.
i commend you for being true to
    The principles you spoused from
The beginning. Let us keep the dream alive, for this is the time we need it most.

  4. My movement is a better world for families living with epilepsy. To support and empower these families to live their best lives. To ensure their therapies and medical needs are covered. Join me at 1in25.co <3

  5. I’m a singer-songwriter on a mission to inspire the world with pure, uplifting music—one heart at a time. 🌟

  6. I feel called to be a life coach. I thought this was my “big dream” but after reading what Vishen wrote, my vision is so much bigger now. I want to build an empire, change the world. Bring harmony, peace and love to people all over the world. Unite people with the best of intentions for humankind. I want to promote healing and intelligent conversation as well as tapping back into the earth and higher power aka the universe aka God. I don’t know how, where, what or when but I have big dreams and I will always pursue world unity and peace. Through Mind Valley I have found and learned so much and I just joined one month ago. I am so inspired and growing into my destiny everyday. Thank you so much, powers that be and Vishen for your courage, insight and amazing opportunities.

  7. Genius presentation and highly inspirational, fueling my inner torching light and fire. So, here is a movement feedback from a Scandinavian Mowgli Viking:
A new movement is rising – forged in silence, sculpted by storms, and ready to recalibrate humanity from the inside out. O4P is not a brand. It is a blueprint for elevation. The ignition has already begun.
The O4P movement: Awaken the source ∞ Elevate humanity.
    /// Peak state, Love & Joy … .. .

  8. Your emphasizing unity is the destiny for a maturing humanity today. It will be done when we let go of all forms of prejudice and build the foundation of a just and peaceful world collaborating together, all religions, races, men and women.

  9. Vishen, thank you for these words — they resonated deeply with me.
My heart is drawn to creating a movement for inner freedom and a gentle return to one’s true self. I believe we can live in harmony with ourselves, others, and the world when we find inner grounding and honesty with ourselves.
Through yoga beyond the mat, working with karma, leadership rooted in inner depth, and storytelling, I want to create spaces where people open up without pressure — freely, consciously, and with warmth.

  10. I am building an I AM movement to know your worth. To know how you are and constantly improve yourself to become a disciple of God in flesh. And only then to touch, influence, and transform people’s view of life from my innersircle to my outercircle.

  11. I am passionate about seeing the world change by introducing the kingdom of God under “Heavenly treasure movement.”
This involves reaching out to the young generation, evangelizing, discipling and training them to get their hands on the same mission. My slogan goes, “On mission with Christ.” This is what I’m working on.

  12. HONESTLY SPEAKING … MYSELF WANTS TO REMOVE ALL THE ” FEARFUL NOTIONS ” … IN THE PATH OF PEACE AND COMPASSION … THAT ARE SPREADING IN OUR SO CALLED HUMANE SOCIETY … ALTHOUGH GLOBALLY … !!!!! 🙂🙏💐

  13. i found it difficult to imagine how it was to live there (in America).
in my country is peace, and still we have four beautiful seasons.
My movement would be I’m happy right now, this moment.
I have opportunity to take courses, there are plenty of them to choose.
And then my dream will come true.

  14. Exactly resonated with my vision Vishen, love you for each and every word that you speak to empower human race and bring unity in them. I too want to build a movement which brings good health and happiness to the world. This will take time but i am completely committed with sheer dedication to make this dream come true. Hoping to meet you in Amsterdam next year same time. Love you and see you soon.

  15. I loved this approach and have reflected on it deeply — especially after going through the Social Media Mastery Quest, as I had to find the red thread between all my projects.

Whether I’m building my eduational project, writing, or creating in other forms, I’ve found the same purpose at the core: empowering people and equipping them with timeless skills to thrive in any era and to enhance their humanity.

In this AI era, I believe that’s what truly makes the difference — using technology for what it does best, while keeping the heart of growth in what only humans can do: connecting deeply, inspiring each other, and leading with purpose.

  16. I’ve always known what movement I want to create, but I always thought that would come after, separately, from business/career/self-actualization. Thanks for pointing out that that movement is the key to all the other things.

By the way, your vision of unity resonates strongly for me. Just one more reason to love Mindvalley!

  17. My Dream is to build an Art Centre for the best in Humans and for the best for Humans. Producing (by real artists), exhibit, selling and distribute art (paint, drawing, dance and writing, maybe sculptures as well) and help and educate children and young artist along the way.

  18. My mind is always focused on developing myself and pushing myself to not be afraid to learn something new.. So in this I have a vision to help men to want to care for themselves better, especially because men in general don’t. With this in mind, focusing on better eating, simple more healthy quick meals, easier lifestyle on less drinking of alchohol.. awareness of bad smoking habits or in family focus but especially financially balancing lifestyle with savings .. most men just don’t! So in all I guess it is really about self education focused on mens health for better family and social growth!

  19. wonderful, heart moving,
I am an option trader. It is fun for me to trade markets, but it is an individual game not a teamwork.
Your writeup really moved my heart……. Thinking now what I can do for the society.
