Everything Is Energy – Understanding How to Better Shape Your Own Reality

Published by

No longer science fiction or cinematic fantasy – it’s entirely possible and proven to shape reality with your mind.

Whether you’re looking to shape your destiny, reframe pain, get over trauma, travel the world or score a date with that special someone, creating your reality is a tremendously important skill to learn.

Yes, skill.

Everything is energy. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.

— Albert Einstein

Let’s dive deeper into creating your reality, with the understanding that everything is energy, so you can learn how to harness this skill and become a deliberate creator of your beautiful life.

We’ll start by defining what “reality” is exactly, and how it works so we can bend and shape it however we want.

Sounds fun? Oh yes, absolutely.

Let’s get to it.

What Is Reality & What Is Perception?

Merriam Webster’s definition of reality is as follows: The world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.

Merriam Webster’s definition of perception is – The state of being or process of becoming aware of something through the senses.

As humans, everything we ‘know,’ perceive, and experience is perception. With our consciousness, we can only ‘know’ what we experience and perceive. We attempt to know what we conceptualize and we create what we imagine.

— Consciousness Liberty

So, when we collectively perceive experiences or measure them scientifically we call this reality. But it is not reality, it is collective perception.

Collective perception is the experience of the collective (in this case humans) that we like to define as being close to the truth of “reality” or “as this actually exists.”

As perceptive beings, we cannot “know” reality or absolute truth. It is an ever-elusive and shifting concept.

Even science, cannot prove reality. Just because at one point we all agreed that scientifically 97% of your DNA is junk, doesn’t make it true – as we are discovering. To learn more about the relativity of reality, click here.

Let’s Test Your Reality

So what proves reality? Let’s run a couple tests and see what you think.

Many people would define waking life as reality.

But when you’re immersed in playing a video game – maybe even virtual reality – is that reality?

I had a conversation recently with a friend who was playing a rock climbing game in virtual reality – VR headset and all.

As he scaled higher up the cliff and looked down, he felt real fear. His heart raced and the signals in his body were firing all kinds of danger alerts.

Was it real? What do you think?

What about dreams?

You just jumped out of a plane.

You feel a sudden drop in the pit of your stomach, strong, cold wind on your face, and the earth coming ever closer – and so fast! Suddenly you collide with another skydiver. You bump your shoulders hard and it sends you spiraling. You can’t see clearly and start to feel for your parachute.

Where is it? You touch your jacket, harness …. can’t find the loop of the shute… your hands are shaking with fear.

Boom, you’re awake. It’s 7:42 am. Gotta get ready for work.

Was that real?

Many people would casually say, “No that was a dream. “No, that’s obviously a video game.” “That’s not reality.”

Dreaming sure feels real when you’re in it right? Sometimes video games feel real as well, but the difference is we can sense outside of them while in play. We can experience consciousness outside of them, so it feels “less real”.

What about when people have near-death experiences and leave their bodies. Their consciousness transcends waking life and they have experiences outside of human life. They “wake up” out of life, so to speak.

Is Waking Human Life Real?

So, if you are experiencing a reality outside of your waking life, just as you wake up out of a dream, is waking human life real?

Here’s where it gets a bit tricky.

The illusion of reality we experience as humans in waking life is in Hindu philosophy known as Maya. It’s a Sanskrit word meaning ‘magic’ or ‘illusion.’

It’s described as a powerful force that creates the cosmic illusion about the phenomenal world as real. Phenomenal, as in, “perceptible by the senses or through immediate experience.”

We are alive in a beautiful and brilliant sensory world of matter. And matter breaks down into energy.

Once you break down the atomic and quantum particles, you realize that everything is energy. Energy is neither created nor destroyed, simply transmuted. And you can transmute it with your mind.

So, what we call reality is nothing more than a collective perception. A perception that we have the ability to influence at will.

Right.

Now that we’re on the same page on what reality is.

Let’s hack it!

This ability to affect the outcome of reality through intention has now been proven with quantum science.

How Does Influencing Reality Work Scientifically?

The potential nature to shift particles of matter simply through observation, or perception, was brought to our attention with a famous quantum physics experiment – the double-slit experiment.

It involved observing the behavior of light particles as they passed through 2 slits in a physical screen.

When observed, the particles of light behaved as physical particles which traveled through one of the two slits to the other side of the screen.

When not observed, these particles behaved as energetic waves and passed through both slits.

How is it that one particle of matter could have gone through BOTH slits on the screen?

All matter breaks down into waves of energy. Because everything is energy, that particle became a wave of energetic potentiality and passed through ALL the possibilities at various points to the other side of the wall. Therefore through BOTH slits.  The ability for a particle to be in more than one location at once is known as quantum superposition.

The influence of intention beyond coincidence

Additional experiments have been conducted that show the correlation between intention and its effect on randomized events.

One such experiment involved a machine that worked with headphones to create random sounds in the listener’s ears – left or right. When the listener intentionally wanted more sounds in the left ear, the number of sounds in the left ear increased.

This was tested over and over again beyond the probability of “coincidence”. The sounds created in the left or right ear were affected by the intention of the listener beyond a reasonable doubt.

So what other cool stuff can you do in your life, besides make more sounds in your left ear using a random sound machine?

Glad you asked.

You can use this effect to heal your body, perform better intellectually or physically, plan your dream vacation, have awesome days where everyone is super nice to you, get a raise, attract like-minded friends and amazing opportunities, synchronicities, and much, much more.

What Shapes Your Reality?

Your reality is constantly changing depending on several factors.

1. Your attention – known biologically as your RAC

From an energetic standpoint, whatever you place your attention on grows stronger in your life. If you’ve ever gotten yourself all worked up about something when you start focusing and talking about it, you know what I mean.

Biologically speaking, your RAC, or reticular activating system, is a set of connected nuclei in your brain that are responsible for searching your environment, or reality, for that which you are placing your attention on – and filtering out everything else.

If you’ve ever been in a conversation with someone and are able to filter out what everyone else is saying to just background noise, you are using your RAC.

This is important because it’s one of the fundamental keys to shaping your reality. If you focus on, where is the beauty in my morning walk? What is this person trying to get across to me? Why is this person hurting me? That is what you will find.

2. Your filter of past experiences and beliefs

Your reality is profoundly shaped by your beliefs.

If you grew up thinking that most people are friendly and willingly strike up a conversation with someone, and then that conversation is quick to end, you may think, “Oh, they must be busy today”.

If, on the other hand, you are someone who struggles with social interaction and you have the same experience, you may think, “Oh, I did it again. I just don’t know how to talk to people and make new friends. Something is wrong with me.

What is the actual reality?

You may be thinking, “The actual reality is whatever the other person was thinking”, so let’s look into that.

Let’s say the other person was thinking, “I want to focus on my work right now.” or “I’m not in a talkative mood” or “I think there’s food in my teeth, I better end this conversation quickly.” Regardless, it’s important to acknowledge that they are also creating their personal reality.

You see, there’s no “real” state – just two people creating individual realities with their perceptions.

3. Your consciousness state

The experience of your reality can change dramatically if you are in a good mood or a bad mood, under the influence of alcohol, other substances, or asleep. You can experience a party until you’re asleep.

Then where did everyone go?

You can no longer see, hear or sense them. Instead, you are experiencing the cool waters of Hawaii somewhere in your dreaming consciousness.

You have a pretty good idea now of the ability to change your perception of reality, which in turn is your reality.

Let’s go deeper still.

Have you heard of The Law of Attraction? The ability to magically attract anything you want into your life.

Sounds like a fantasy?

The Law of Attraction & Sympathetic Resonance

What is known as the “law of attraction” is scientifically called “sympathetic resonance”.

It’s a harmonic phenomenon wherein a formerly passive vibratory body responds to external vibrations to which it has a harmonic likeness.

For example, if you have 2 similar guitar strings with the same harmonic likeness and pluck one of them, the one that you plucked will vibrate. And the ones close by that you didn’t touch will ALSO begin to vibrate.

This is because both strings have resonant frequencies. The active vibration of one string’s movement induces a vibration in the second latent string by the phenomena of resonance – symphonic resonance.

So, here’s how it works outside of guitar strings and into your life.

Your emotions contain signature energetic vibrations, as with everything else. Remember that everything is energy and comes down to energy.

If you walk into a coffee shop for example, and you’re vibrating happiness, gratitude, and love, you will activate those vibrations in other human beings (and everything else) around you – if they also “resonate” with you or contain the potential for those vibrations.

So you will experience everyone as nice and pleasant and happy.

Ever gone up to a dog and been afraid? Usually doesn’t go well. If that dog has any potential vibrations of fear within him, you’ll activate these and get a defensive response because it will begin to feel afraid as well.

It may even growl or bite. Dogs, and animals, are sensitive to energy, more so because they don’t have conflicts with the English language like humans do.

Dogs will simply feel your fear, whereas people may also feel it but second guess themselves when you tell them, “No, I’m fine. I’m good.”

On the other hand, if you go up to a dog with feelings of peace and serenity, you will induce peace and serenity in the dog, if it exists.

And that is how like attracts like.

Ever notice how some people bring out different sides of you? Some people bring out your honesty. Such as, “Wow I’ve never told anyone that before,” and vice versa.

Your focus dictates your reality

So next time you’re playing sports and thinking, “I hope I don’t fall” realize that your vibration is vibrating in fall, fall, fall and guess what happens?

You fall.

Better to practice the vibration of, “I got this, I score all the time” and then watch what happens. Now you know how to better shape your reality.

To sum it up, everything is vibration, everything is energy and energy condenses into the matter.

We are beings of perception, your reality is relative to your perception.

This is how you shape reality

You shape your reality by practicing and amplifying a consistent signature energetic vibration of what you want to create. Because everything is energy, your vibration creates a sympathetic resonance that activates the vibrations of anything with resonance to your vibration.

You define it, create it and grow from it. Remember, just as we seek growth, challenge and thrill in a movie or video game, it is the same in the story of our lives.

Write a good story, yes?

I believe in you.

With Love,
Jacqueline
