A Powerful Lesson From A 13th Century Poem

Frustrated. Overworked. Overwhelmed… and nearly burned out.

That’s exactly how I was feeling when I arrived in New York City last year.

In charge of a company of over 200 people, some 9389 miles away, with a book deadline looming above my head like dark storm clouds, I felt stuck… spinning my wheels and unable to get any traction in my work or personal life.

In a desperate attempt to flag the universe down for help (and heck, maybe even bribe it into sending luck my way), I reached out to the guru consulted by executives of Google, Microsoft, AT&T and dozens of leading companies worldwide, Srikumar Rao.

In less than 3 minutes, Srikumar Rao showed me a counter-intuitive way to reframe how I was viewing the world, and attract all the people, opportunities, and luck I needed to succeed on my own terms…

He shared a way to get the universe in my corner without frantically cramming my calendar with appointments, trying too hard or chasing anyone or anything…

During our Skype call, he recited a simple poem for me which was written by Rumi.

It goes something like this:

Deal with stress

This poem changed me. It shifted my perspective so much that in the weeks to come, all my stress, anxiety and fears melted away and I was able to effortlessly manifest all my goals. I share more about this in the video above.
