KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 2013 – Talks@Mindvalley, the inspiring speaker series produced by Mindvalley, will be hosting TED Talk speaker and child prodigy, Adora Svitak, in a private talk on “Youth Empowerment in a Digital Age”, this Friday, May 31, in the Hall of Awesomeness at their headquarters in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
Dubbed the “cleverest kid in the world”, the 15-year-old is already an internationally acclaimed speaker and published author, known for her essays, stories, poems, blogs, and full-length books since the age of seven. Her TED Talk in 2010, What Adults Can Learn From Kids, has garnered almost 3 million views across the web.
A passionate activist, Adora, has a moving message to share with the world. She can often be found on stages around the world delivering talks on youth impact, Internet culture and its integration into education, and the impact of technology on the creative process. Her most recent endeavor was to participate in the XPRIZE Foundation’s Visioneering 2013, an annual event where groundbreaking entrepreneurs, thinkers, inventors, and innovators gather to create innovations that will push humanity forward.
During her upcoming visit to Kuala Lumpur, you can see Adora Svitak speaking at Mindvalley about “Youth Empowerment in a Digital Age”, which will take place on Friday, May 31st at 8pm, at a closed event hosted by Vishen Lakhiani, the CEO and founder of Mindvalley. She will share her thoughts on the power of youth and leveraging online platforms to give a voice to a cause, passion, or message.
